Owner History
I was born Thomas Lowell Haider in Seattle, Washington. The year was 1967. My Father, James(Big Jim) had landed a job at the Boeing plant, where they make airplanes, in the area. Just after I was born, my Dad got laid off at Boeing. So Dad took the family back to North Dakota, where he had come from. Little Thomas grew up in Minot, North Dakota. “Why not, Minot?” is what they say up there. I say, “Because it’s too darn cold!” I love it there, nonetheless!
When I was a wee 10 years of age, I moved down to Florida with my Mother (Kay), and Grandmother Gladys to live. There I lived and played in the sun and surf until my junior year of high school . In the interest of bettering my education, I decided to finish high school up in North Dakota. After finishing high school and one year of college at Minot State University, Thomas fled the cold winters of Minot to the warm beaches of Southwest Florida. In Ft. Myers, I studied one year at Edison Community College. I then decided, I had studied enough.
In 1992, I chased a pretty little strawberry-blonde to Denver, Colorado. I didn’t think I’d like it much here, spoiled by the easy, clean life in and around Ft.Myers Beach. But, low and behold, what a beautiful state Colorado is! I love to get away to the hills whenever possible. Whether camping, or seeking powder on my board , I'm headed for the hills, away from the chaos of city life. When in the city I golf (15 handicap), and love live music!
I started cleaning carpet and upholstery in 1991, down in Florida, for $5 an apartment. I’ve been cleaning carpet and upholstery here in the Denver/Metro area ever since moving here in 1992. I also started repairing carpet at that time. A-All American Cleaning Services opened up for business on January 28th, ’06.
